Overview
In 2017 the VW Alltrack rolled off assembly lines for the first time and hit U.S. streets. The the automotive industry took note at VW’s obvious attempt to knock Subaru’s revered Outback out of the top spot for slightly lifted station wagons, and also its impressive specs.
The Basics

Both transmissions received exceptional reviews and are caveats to the average 30 Highway / 22 City MPG the 2017 Alltrack boasts.
At our test track, an automatic-equipped Alltrack scampered from zero to 60 mph in 7.5 seconds, but our long-term test vehicle equipped with the manual transmission did the deed in just 6.7 seconds.

MSRP: According to Kelly Blue Book, MSRP on the 2017 Alltrack base “S” model was between $26,000 to $27,770, with the “SE” and “SEL” ranging from $29,000 – $30,000 and $32,000 – $35,000, respectively.

Overall, a solid launch. In fact, the 2017 Alltrack did the highest U.S. sales volume per annum at 26,700, according to Wikipedia. That’s impressive considering VW continued the model in 2018 and 2019.
