This year the check engine light comes one. ODBC scanner reports 'P0420 Catalyst System Efficiency Below Threshold Bank 1'. Cleared code several times and returns a few weeks later. Fixed problem after replacing the fuel pump that went out. Experienced no engine cut off after a month of driving including fuel levels below 1/4 full tank.

Update - removed the starter, lubricated the starter gear mating surfaces with grease, checked main gear retraction, and reinstalled the starter. Starter noise is less but makes noise on colder days and no noise on warm/hot days. I'll have to live with the irritation until have to replace the starte...

This week ... a screeching noise after each start up. Possible dirty starter problem. Just finished replacing the fuel pump. Looks like spending another weekend under the hood.
