I have a wiperless Scirocco hatch in silver. I'm not certain of the paint code. It still has the foam spoiler and glass, and has a good seal. The paint on the corners is slightly banged up. But there is no rust. I'm also not sure about shipping. But I'd like to get rid of it, if someone wants it. I'...

Like previous posters have said, check the seal to you pollen filter housing, and also check your a/c drain. You'll find it on the passenger side firewall down low under the hood. Barring issues with the thermostat, and its three-piece plastic housing leaking, or the lower coolant pipe which would become brittle and crack over time, I don't think there were really any inherent issues with 12v AAA VR6 engines overheating.
