This car will run fine for a week or so then when making a sharp left or right turn the engine will quit for no reason. It always restarts. Any ideas?

Thats usually something electrical - like a loose ground or bad connector. Ive had minor trouble with electrical connectors on my 2003, had to clean and de-oxidise a few things.

Are any codes coming up or the 'check engine light -(small motor ICON)

Agree with previous post as a possibility.

Could also be fuel related. When you cut out is your tank below one quarter full?
Remove pump from tank and clean pick up mesh. Check for debris in bottom of tank, if found need to clean out. Renew o ring seal and also replace fuel filter (usually seldom changed on petrol cars).
Have seen this issue on several VAG models. Seems to usually happen when fuel drops to one quarter tank.

Please post back on what you try or how you resolve.

Gary.
