Had the 79 window bus. Middle seat was removed. More cargo space and than any pickup truck I owned. Made two movies with it, hauling equipment and cast around. great for getting around but not if one was in a hurry or up hill!

One of two vehicles I regret ever letting go.

Had a second-hand '79 - orange over brown (sunshine and chocolate is what it said on the title, no joke). Drove it coast to coast loaded with my worldly possessions, resurrected it after a minor fuel line fire, drove it up and down the eastern seaboard several times afterward.

Have a standing agreement with my wife that if either of us ever find another one worth keeping, it's a done deal.

The Bays are not hard to find in decent shape without condemning the kids to State Schools.
