2002 Eurovan here

Bought new - the best vehicle I have ever owned. Has been used as a camper, boat tow beast, sleeping on Cape for work ... and unscheduled maintenance costs of about 700 bucks over 15 years.

I agree it's a great van but my 1993 ( new engine at 180k, still original transmission at 240K) cost me probably $700 a year. Wouldn't change it for anything else (may be the new Mercedes). Last five years I do (try) to do all repair myself.
I hope this forum will have a good repair database like the Volvo forum
