Hybrid Jetta?

Known as the NCS (New Compact Sedan) the Jetta mk6 was announced in 2010. It's larger and cheaper to produce than the mk5 Jetta making the vehicle more competitive against rivals.

Does this forum also support discussions about the Hybrid Jettas? I think those are pretty slick.

I didn't even know there was a hybrid Jetta. A store I frequent has special parking for 'low emission vehicles'. I park there and pretend mine is a hybrid.

Yep, there's a hybrid, with a 1.4T engine no less. It should be getting more attention now that the TDI has been pulled.

I had one for a week to review it. My main issue with the car: it essentially has two driving modes (eco, performance) and doesn't transition smoothly between them. I think the car would be better with selectable modes, so the car didn't have to guess (slowly) how you are trying to drive it.
