Starter Noise

This week ... a screeching noise after each start up. Possible dirty starter problem. Just finished replacing the fuel pump. Looks like spending another weekend under the hood.

Update - removed the starter, lubricated the starter gear mating surfaces with grease, checked main gear retraction, and reinstalled the starter. Starter noise is less but makes noise on colder days and no noise on warm/hot days. I'll have to live with the irritation until have to replace the starter. BTW removal/install time - plan on at least 6 hrs.
