- 34 MPG over 50 miles
- 60 MPH average speed
- 90% highway
- 95 MPH = 3000 RPM in 6th gear
- 65 MPH = 2000 RPM in 6th gear

I took my 2017 Alltrack 6-speed Denver to Castle Rock this morning. Round trip was 50 miles in 50 minutes, for an average speed of 60 MPH.
For note: 95 MPH = 3000 RPM in 6th gear. 65 MPH = 2000 RPM in 6th gear. This drivetrain was made for highway cruising. If the seats were more comfortable, it would be a long distance Gift from Heaven.

Just curious because I have a new Alltrack and it’s showing 39 MPG after 180 miles of highway driving but I have not actually filled the tank to confirm. Have you?
Michael, I’ve done some “back of the napkin” calculations, and I’ve found the MPG computer to be accurate. I’ll have a comprehensive mega-post soon on lifetime MPG and an in-depth study of the MPG computer’s accuracy.
[…] you have the same 1.8 liter turbocharged 4-cylinder iron block powerplant. In my 2017, I get well into the 30s MPG on highway fuel economy. See all Alltrack World MPG posts […]
